Power Politics is initiated and organized by SIB Amsterdam (or: DUNSA Amsterdam, its official English title).

The Dutch United Nations Student Association of Amsterdam (DUNSA/SIB Amsterdam), a chapter of the nationwide DUNSA, is committed to increase the international awareness among students. DUNSA/SIB Amsterdam consists of members of various academic backgrounds, all with a shared passion for international affairs.

DUNSA/SIB Amsterdam offers various activities throughout the year, all related to international relations. These activities vary from lectures, symposia, workshops and excursions to organizations with an international perspective (e.g. NATO, the EU, embassies, multinational companies, NGOs). Three or four times a year, a trip is organized to a destination abroad (Beijing, New York, Brussels, Delhi). Also, there is a weekly social drink every Wednesday night.
